Awesome collages from youtube screen grabs

Josh Poehlein's Modern History works takes individual frame grabs from YouTube videos and assembles them into scenic collages. And if you ask nicely, he'll share the love with a high-res file.

A very cool re-purposing of something we 21st century net people consume every day.But i must say, the titles of the works are really.. how should i put it... CRAPPY! esp the last one... But I must say, i like the fireworks one... cause i like the PEW PEW-ness of it... also explains why i have a fireworks app on my iphone where i just watch fireworks... anyways...Hit the jump for more collages...

Top 50 best selling video games from the past decade

Wow Nintendo just totally swept everything! I'm really surprised N64 isn't up there at all, let alone Mario 64 or Goldeneye, I remember everyone had N64 and everyone had Goldeneye back in the day.. did you ever use the cheats to get big heads and used Oddjobs for multiplayers like I did because he's so short so hard to shoot!! Golden Gun is mine!! PEW PEW!!
Hit the jump for the top 50 games..

The ‘millennial’ decade, starting on January 1, 2000 at 12:00 AM ends this December 31 at 11:59 PM. With 9.25 years of the decade already concluded, it is time to look at what the top selling games for the decade were, are and will be. In the chart below, sales are listed in millions, and the date represents when the game released in its first videogame market. The sales figures are not necessarily the total of the game but rather the total it sold in the 2000s. In the case of a few games with long tails which released late in the 1990s but sold well enough to make the chart the totals listed are not “lifetime to date totals” but totals from January 1 2000 to March 28, 2009. All games bundled with hardware are included as well. Games with a squiggly line by the sales total have totals between the title above and the title below, but the exact figure in the 2000s was estimated. Outside the top fifty, another four games have sold 5m units this decade.
