Cold Steel Two Handed Sword

Eyjafjallajökull Daily CO2 Output Puny Compared to European Aviation Industry
For those of you who live under a rock, Europe was rocked (har har) by the active eruptions of Mt. Eyjafjallajökull (say it 3 times fast!) in Iceland. The massive ash plumes have wreaked havoc on European travel as the Europe banned all air travel to and from the EU. So what does this really mean.
As you can see in this graph, the European aviation industry's daily CO2 output completely surpasses Eyjafjallajökull with a daily total of 344,109 tons of CO2 per day. It dwarfs the volcano's 15,000 tons to a tiny little triangle.
Anyways, although travelers are hatin' on the volcano for grounding and/or stranding them for days on end, the earth sure is having a good laugh. Hit the jump for awesome pictures of the little volcano that could (and did).
